Numerous art galleries can be found in Roseburg and the Central Douglas County area. Local artists are featured along with special exhibits of regional and national artwork. In Roseburg the Umpqua Valley Arts Center and Gift Gallery is located in the restored Old Soldiers Home, and serves as a regional cultural center.

Roseburg is home to several public gardens, memorial sites and public art displays, offering visitors special places to enjoy.

Musical greats of all kinds will be arriving in Roseburg throughout this summer to be a part of the Music On The Half Shell (MOTHS) concert series. The eight show concert series has grown to become one of the area's most popular events as word continues to spread throughout the northwest. Concerts are held Tuesdays form 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the bandshell in Stewart Park from mid June to mid August. Concert performers are announced in May.
