The climate in Roseburg is noted for it's four distinct seasons as well as the gradual changes that lead one season into the next.

The summers here are sunny and warm and rarely see any notable rain. August tends to be the warmest with temperatures in the 80's. The temperatures can get into the 90's and occasionally the 100's but Roseburg never gets very humid. In July, the relative humidity averages 54% at 10:00 AM and goes down to 34% at 4:00PM.

"Indian Summers" can push into the late fall making October a great month to explore when the trees around Roseburg begin to show off their Fall colors. Winter brings rain but snow in the valleys is very rare. Precipitation averages around 33 inches a year.

Roseburg is known for having one of the lowest average wind velocities which is around 4 to 6 miles per hour. This make it one of the least windy places in the entire US.
