The award-winning Douglas County Museum of History and Natural History is located at I-5 exit #123 one mile south of Roseburg. The museum's displays offer a fun and exciting learning adventure. 2002 marks Douglas County's Sesquicentennial. Enjoy a special Museum exhibit on the first 150 years of Douglas County. Open daily. The Hundred Valleys of the Umpqua are home to twenty-two wineries, most located in the surrounding areas of Roseburg. Signs mark the Wine Tour Route through the Garden Valley area north west to Umpqua, Elkton and Oakland and south west to Winston, Tenmile and Dillard.
