Douglas County Museum of History & Natural History
The award-winning Douglas County Museum of History and Natural History is located at I-5 exit #123 one mile south of Roseburg. The museum is a fun and exciting learning adventure with engaging exhibits depicting 8,000 years of Native American culture, pioneer history and natural history unique to the Land of Umpqua.
Experience railroading history by touring through a restored 1882 Oregon and California Railroad Depot. The museum is home to one of the largest historical photographic collections in the state. A children’s discovery room and outdoor archeological “Dig Into history” site gives youth the opportunity for hands-on learning.
