Loon Lake is located off Highway 38 approximately 68 miles northwest of Roseburg. Surrounded by tall Douglas fir and Cedar trees, the beautiful 270-acre lake curves roughly two miles in length and is protected from coastal winds, fog, and has milder temperatures than the coast.
Visitors to the lake will enjoy a variety of water sports from water skiing to SUP and kayaking. The lake is stocked with bass each year and trout flourish all year making it one of the best fishing lakes in Oregon. The area is ideal for camping, picnicking, hunting, fishing, swimming (with a beach at both ends) and hiking.
